Germany: Antifascists and far-right activists clash on October 19.

Rival activist organizations plan to demonstrate on October 19 in the Marzahn district of Berlin. Several antifascist groups will gather at 4:00 PM at the intersection of Markische Allee and Raoul-Wallenbergstrasse before marching to the intersection of Mehrower Allee and Markische Allee. Their aim is to denounce far-right activism in Germany and to support women’s rights.

In counter-protest, activists from Deutsche Jugend Voran (DJV) and other associated groups will gather starting at 2:30 PM at Springpfuhl S-Bahn station, before heading to the intersection of Mehrower Allee and Lea-Grundig-Strasse.

Both gatherings are expected to continue until 11:59 PM. Although the number of participants remains uncertain, local authorities will likely increase police presence to monitor the events. Disruptions to road traffic and public transport are anticipated in the area, and while the demonstrations are expected to be peaceful, clashes between opposing activists or with the police cannot be ruled out.
